I love UCHUSENTAI: NOIZ’s cover of the Tagalog song Superhero by Filipino alternative rock band Rocksteddy.  The music video is faithful to the song’s theme.  The set is also great; very Filipino fantasy-like.  The visual effects are captivating.  Unlike their covers of Liwanag sa Dilim (Light in the Darkness) and Pinoy Ako (I’m a Filipino) where I prefer UCHUSENTAI: NOIZ’ versions over the original ones, I prefer the original version of Superhero by Rocksteddy this time.  I just like the original’s more romantic musicality.  Nevertheless, I still love UCHUSENTAI: NOIZ’s cover.  I also prefer their awesome music video than the original’s, ahem, crappy visual effects.

Rating for Cover: 😀 😀 😀 (3 out 5 grins)

Watch the original version of Superhero by Rocksteddy below.  I think that it has more a romantic feel to it than UCHUSENTAI: NOIZ’s version.  That’s why I like it more.

Rating for Original: 😀 😀 😀 🙂 (3 & 1/2 out of 5 grins)
