Kawaii Chopper

Rating: 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 (5 out of 5 grins)
Tony Tony Chopper is one of my favourite characters from the awesome mega-hit anime ONE PIECE.  He is easily the cutest and the most adorable among the characters.

His seiyuu, Otani Ikue (大谷育江), is also the voice of Pokemon’s Pikachu.  Her voice is perfect for both Chopper and Pikachu.  I have no complaints.  Her voice multiplies Chopper’s cuteness by a hundred-fold.  If you watched episodes 254-263 and the movie The Giant Mechanical Soldier of Karakuri Castleanother seiyuu named Ikura Kazue (伊倉 一恵) voiced Chopper.  Otani-san took a maternity leave.

The result is very different.  I think that Ikura-san did her best, but Otani-san is still the perfect seiyuu to fill the role of the adorable tonakai Chopper.
