Just Awake: The Heavy Metal in HUNTERxHUNTER (2011)

Rating:  😀 😀 😀 😀 (4 out of 5 grins)

I LOVE HUNTERxHUNTER!  I love the manga.  I love both of the first and the current anime adaptations.  I just wish that Togashi-sensei would make it a priority to draw and finish the series, but I digress.  This post is about one of my favourite theme songs in the anime, Just Awake by Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Totally badass!

Hmmm. That’s a hard question. Marami akong favourite characters sa HxH. Ganito siguro ang top 3 ko:

        1. Killua
        2. Hisoka
        3. Kurapika

        Hahaha. Ikaw?

      3. Well, that’s alright. When you’re finished with Naruto, subukan mong panuorin next itong HxH. It’s really good, one of the best stories and character developments sa anime. Of course, if you have time. 😉

    1. Same here. I became a fan of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas because of the anime.

And thank you very much. I appreciate your compliment. Thanks for dropping by. Keep on watching anime. Cheers!(,, ・∀・)ノ゛

  1. I totally love this ED theme as well! The first time it played, it totally caught me off guard! I didn’t expect a screamo/electronic hardcore music to play in this anime. LOL. And now, I’m totally hooked to the band! They’re the only screamo band that I enjoy listening to, thanks to their unique music that has electronic sounds that go along well with that hardcore rock. 🙂

    1. My thoughts exactly! I just love this song. The first time I heard it, I scoured youtube to hear the whole song. I just love it! I became a fan then and there. My family scratch their heads whenever I play this song because they think that I only listen to classical and ballad music. Oh well. High five for Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas! 😀
      Thanks for dropping by. Cheers!

      1. Same here~ My mom find the music too loud, noisy, and chaotic (which is really true) so she didn’t like it. I had to hide myself and my laptop in my room to fully listen to and enjoy their songs.

  2. I also enjoyed this ED when I first started watching Hunter x Hunter. It has an aggression, energy and slightly sinister feel that I thought went perfectly with the anime’s content. Though I haven’t been following the show recently this song it’s certainly memorable. 😀

    1. High five! Oh my gosh. That’s exactly what I think. They made the animation go so well with the music. I just absolutely love it. I, too, haven’t been following the anime show recently since the Chimera Ant Arc started, but I’m following the manga instead. Thanks for dropping by. Cheers!
