HAJIMARI NO KAZE: A Beautiful Song & Story

Rating: 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 (perfect 5 grins)

Hajimari no Kaze (始まりの風 / Wind of Beginning) by Hirahara Ayaka-san (平原 綾香) is one of my most favourite songs ever.  It is so beautiful, both music and lyrics, that tears just start to well up in my eyes whenever I listen to it.  Hirahara-san‘s voice is just perfect for the song: warm and serene.

This song is the first opening theme song of the equally beautiful anime Saiunkoku Monogatari (彩雲国物語 / Tale of the Coloured Cloud Kingdom).  The song just fits the theme of the anime so perfectly.  I love it!

Two seasons lang s’ya?

    1. Parang napaka-effortless lang ‘no?

I highly recommend it. It’s like female empowerment din, kaya I like it. They adapted it from novels. Love story siya, so go, watch it. 😉

      2. Sabi ko na nga ba eh. It was a good choice na ipinost ko ‘yong poster na may mga gwapong lalaki. Haha! I think most Pinoy singers, talagang birit to the max ang ginagawa nila eh. Kung minsan, halos pareho nalang ang boses nila that it’s hard to differentiate them from each other.

  2. This truly is a very beautiful song! I only knew Hirahara from her song Reset that was featured in Okami, but I guess I need to listen to more of her songs, they’re beautiful.

    1. It is beautiful. It’s one of my favourites. I like Hajimari no Kaze more than Reset, but there’s no doubt that they’re both serene music since they’re sung by Hirahara-san.
