How swiftly the year has gone by. 7 months ago, I was toying with the idea of creating a blog exclusively about anime & manga. I daydreamed, I planned, and I wrote some posts. 6 months ago, I created fujinsei. This is not my first blog, but I can confidently say that this is the most enjoyable one.
MY FAVOURITE BLOGGING BUDDIES
For the 6 months since I became a member of the anime & manga blogosphere, I’ve met several kindred spirits who constantly provide me with a sense of belonging with our mutual passion for anime & manga.

You are one of the first people that I connected since creating this blog. I don’t think you know how much I appreciate your friendship. Thank you for your thoughtful e-mails that never fail to cheer me up. You’re always the first one to notice whenever my blog has not been updated for a while. Thanks for being a friend (and a mentor). Keep in touch!

Miha-chan! I value your frequent comments about my posts. I appreciate that we have similar interests, and I always enjoy our conversations. You have a great blog, and I admire your insightful posts. I also think that being both Filipinos add another layer of familiarity between us. Thanks for being an awesome blogging buddy. Keep on blogging!

Whenever I think of Slam Dunk, I’m always reminded of you. Well, we connected because of Slam Dunk after all. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng mga daldalan natin sa e-mail. Base sa mga usapan natin, I concluded na pareho tayong loka-loka (in a good way, of course). Good luck sa Naruto at ‘wag masyadong adik sa BSB. Salamat uli, ha. Keep in touch!
♦ Denny Sinnoh <dennysinnoh.wordpress.com>
Oh gosh. This guy cracks me up every time. Thanks for your hilarious comments and suggestions. I always appreciate them, although my stomach hurts all the time from laughing at them. Keep on blogging, alright? I especially like your posts about those beautiful kimono.

It’s only recently that we connected, but I’m looking forward to reading more of your blog posts. Congratulations on completing your 30-Day Anime Challenge! Well done! Keep on blogging.
Thank you all for being such wonderful blogging buddies. I’m so glad to have met all of you, and I’m looking forward to discussing more about our mutual passion for anime, manga, and the Japanese culture. Let’s have another great blogging year this 2015, alright?
On October 4, I accepted the 30-Day Anime Challenge. On October 6, I started with Day 1. Since then, I’m now halfway through the challenge. This challenge is a great blogging experience. I’ve met other anime & manga bloggers through it. I can’t wait to finally conquer this challenge. To my fellow bloggers who already finished it, congratulations! To those of you who haven’t tried it yet, I challenge you to accept this challenge.
Perhaps when I finish this, I’ll accept another challenge. I may look for already circulating ones, or perhaps I’ll create a new challenge myself. Hmmm. We’ll see.
DEAR GIRL STORIES
I began translating DGS episodes and posting them here for the sole reason of amusing myself. Little did I know that my DGS posts will become the most searched for in my blog. Wow! That was totally unexpected. I still translate DGS eps for amusing myself, but now that I know people are actually waiting, I began to feel a vague sense of duty. Nevertheless, I dislike stress and pressure when it comes to my hobbies, so I won’t apologize to you for “late” translations. But thank you very much for making my DGS translations a great success. I hope that you enjoyed my translations and keep enjoying them in the future.
SAYOUNARA 2014! ARIGATOU!
As I just said, 2014 has been a wonderful blogging year. I’ll never forget it, as it’s the birthyear of fujinsei. Once again, thank you to all of my awesome blogging buddies and loyal readers. The year may have ended, but there’s still another year coming up where we forge many other exciting blogging experiences. I’m looking forward to what 2015 have in store for fujinsei.
