Finding the Strength to Go On in “Life is Like a Boat” by Rie Fu

Day 16:  A Song that Holds a Lot of Meaning to You

Life is Like a Boat by Rie Fu (リエ フゥ) is the first ending theme song of the anime Bleach, adapted from the manga by Kubo Tite (久保 帯人).  Like what I said in a previous post, Bleach Got it Right with Life is Like a Boat, this song is one of my absolute favourites.  I often listen to it not only because the melody is beautiful but also because of its meaningful and inspiring lyrics.

Life is Like a Boat holds a lot of meaning to me because it’s one of the songs that gives me courage whenever I’m feeling down and hopeless.  Facing all of the challenges that life throws us can be daunting, but this song encourages us to find strength from our bonds with people who are important to us.

Now you know that Life is Like a Boat by Rie Fu (リエ フゥ) is a song that holds a lot of meaning to me.  What’s yours?
