Day 22:  A Song That Would Be the Theme Song to a TV Show About Your Life

Memories by Otsuki Maki (大槻真希) is a song that I think would be the theme song to a TV show about my life.  This song is special to me, in addition to being one of my favourite songs, because it’s the first ending theme song of my #1 favourite anime ONE PIECE.

The melody is beautiful, but what I love the most about Memories is that its lyrics are so meaningful.  For an introspective person like myself, I treasure my memories whether they’re “real” or manufactured or a mixture of both.  Like the message in this song, memories for me are irreplaceable treasure.  Even if the world changes, my  memories are mine alone and no one else’s.

I think that this song would be a perfect theme song for a TV show about me, although I have no idea what kind of TV show would be based on my life.  It sure wouldn’t be a reality show since I don’t believe that “reality” is absolute but only relative.  It changes based on a person’s perception.  Besides reality shows are not 100% “real”, you know.

Now you know that Memories from my #1 favourite anime ONE PIECE is a song that I think would be the theme song to a TV show about  my life.  What do you think is yours?
