Introducing MANGA.TOKYO!!!

Hello, folks! How are you all doing? Spring has finally arrived. It’s time for something fresh. That’s why I want to share with you this cool new website called MANGA.TOKYOYay yay! They feature the latest otaku culture news and anime reviews directly from Japan. logo

In addition to internationally-released news, MANGA.TOKYO also boasts content that are provided for Japanese media only, which they then translate into English for us to enjoy. Content and sources that couldn’t be found on English-language websites or other languages. Their headquarters are in Japan and their editor-in-chief, Yuki, is Japanese.

On their About Us page, they write:

Although you can find anime and manga news and review articles outside of Japan, there is still a lot of information only accessible in Japan. We take full advantage of being here in Japan and write high-quality articles. -MANGA.TOKYO

How cool is that? As members of the otaku community outside Japan, this is super exciting. They give us more “inside knowledge” of the industry directly from the people working and living there.

As for the website itself, it’s clean and easy to navigate. I personally like it because it’s not cluttered and confusing, unlike other news website. It’s also mobile-friendly, which is great when you want to read their content on the go.

You can read anime reviews by season, but I think that the main draw are their news reports and columns. My personal favourite, however, is their Interview corner. They translate interviews into English with the leading names in the industry, and in my delight, interviews with my favourite seiyuu! Uwah! My heart stopped for 2 seconds when I saw an interview with two of my favourite seiyuu ever, Kamiya Hiroshi and Ono Daisuke. Ah, you have my big thanks, MANGA.TOKYO!

I recommend this new website. I think it’s worth adding to your personal list of anime & otaku news sources. I’ve already added them to mine. Check them out on their official website, on Twitter, on Facebook and on Instagram.

That’s all for today,  folks. Have a glorious day. Cheers!

    1. Yes! You can check if they have. But I’m just told that they’ll do their best to post more translated interviews so even if they don’t have interviews with people you like yet, they may have them soon. 😉
