Arria Cross in 3 Anime Characters (Twitter Tag Challenge)

Hello, folks! Inspired by the lovely Katrina Sade (Grimm Girl) in her post “Three Anime Characters That Describe GrimmGirl”, I also decided to expand on my answer to Twitter’s tagging challenge: “Describe yourself in 3 fictional characters”.

As you can see on my original tweet above, I chose 3 very different anime characters who I think best describe me. Like Katrina, I would like to explain my choices in detail here in my own blog.

1. Erza Scarlet (Fairy Tail)

“…sexy and feminine yet insanely strong, capable of defending herself and the people she loves.”

When I was tagged for this challenge, Erza immediately popped in my mind. Like her, I’m strict…and a tad bossy, but I care about the people who are important to me and will defend them, no matter the consequences. I’m also often told by my friends that sometimes I’m a little scary and intimidating—although I’m sure that they’re exaggerating…I hope. Her character is someone that I want to emulate: sexy and feminine yet insanely strong, capable of defending herself and the people she loves.

2. L (Death Note)

“…extremely secretive, to the point of paranoia, even to my own family and closest friends. I’m even suspicious of pets when it comes to secrets.”

L is a person of many quirks. I’m also a person of many quirks. Like him, I can’t imagine life without sweets, chocolates, sugar, and all yummy treats. Although I don’t sit squatting like him wherever he goes, I notice that I tend to sit cross-legged on the ground wherever I’m allowed to do so. I’d rather sit on the carpet than on the couch at home. I’m also extremely secretive, to the point of paranoia, even to my own family and closest friends. I’m even suspicious of pets when it comes to secrets. People also get confused around me because without any warning, I crack jokes with a serious expression. I like observing other people and trying to understand their personalities. Lastly like L, even though I have my own strong sense of justice, I admit that I’m slightly evil and manipulative. But don’t tell. Many think I’m innocent and pure.

3. Nyanko-sensei (Natsume Yuujinchou)

“…act like a mature and civilized adult, letting bygones be bygones, while mentally strangling you with the sweetest smile on my face.”

If I was an animal, I’d be a cat. No doubt about it. Most people view me as Madara, Nyanko-sensei’s true form—strong, mature, assertive (sometimes aggressive), and rarely afraid. However, I’m also actually Nyanko-sensei, a playful person; sometimes immature and selfish. I get overly excited about things, especially when it comes to anime, books, and food. However, if you offend me, I’ll either rage at you like a fire-breathing dragon or ignore you completely like you ceased existing…or act like a mature and civilized adult, letting bygones be bygones, while mentally strangling you with the sweetest smile on my face. I’m eternally curious, which gets me into trouble a number of times. I’d rather suffer the consequences than “not know”! Most of the time, though, I’m able to charm and steer the consequences away from me…not always, mind you, but most of the time.
Very cat-like, don’t you think? (=ↀωↀ=)

These 3 anime characters—Erza Scarlet, L, and Nyanko-sensei—best describe who I am as a person. I’m not always open about my private life, so I think it’s rare for me to share more about my personality. But you know what, it’s not like I’m posing naked in front of you, so I don’t mind sharing this much. What do you think?

That’s it for today, folks! How about you? Who are the 3 fictional characters who you think best describe you? Let me know! Have a super-duper awesome day. Cheers!

  1. I actually got tagged like three times! Maybe I should explain as well my three tagged post for the fun. I can see you as Erza and L. You are very sweet and I know you are a strong person. I think you are awesome and that’s why I l what I like about you. 🙂

    1. Yes, it’s a very fun tag challenge. Kat started doing it on her blog so i thought I should too. Glad I did. Thanks, bro! I just feel an affinity to these characters.

Did you do your own post with this tag challenge?

  2. When I first saw Erza way back when I got into Fairy Tail, I immediately thought, “This person is everything I want to be.” I can’t say I’ve succeeded in that AT ALL, but oh well. :/

    1. I realize now when it’s pointed out to me; that my choices are very varied. Oh my gosh. I know, right? Although I can’t drink coffee because it makes me literally nauseous, I feel the same way with chocolates and tea. I don’t feel well and my day feels incomplete if I don’t drink my daily morning coffee.

  3. L, that’s pretty interesting. I think anyone who has watched Death Note is super fascinated with that character. I mean, somehow, his secretive nature and all the various ways he tries to solve the cases kind of makes my interest peek up.

    1. True. He’s awesome. I was utterly shocked when he died and remained dead, even when I was hoping that there would be some sort of twist that would end up with him being alive. Alas, my hopes were dashed. But yeah, I’m also extremely secretive like him and calculate carefully what to reveal to others about myself. Thanks for dropping by. Cheers!

  4. I freaking love this and am gonna use it my next post.
Sadly, as much as I’d like to use the characters I look up to (like Roy Mustang and Captain Levi) I’m likely going to end up with something far less brave. Ah well XD
Awesome post btw. You sound like someone I wanna grab a stack of comics with and tear into over candy.

    1. I know, right? It’s originally a Twitter challenge which I did last month, but I was also inspired by a fellow blogger to write a post about my 3 choices. Have fun writing yours!

Well, perhaps you can write 2 posts instead. 1 is this post where you write about 3 characters who best describe you. The other will be about the characters you look up to. Hmmm. This sounds like a good idea. I might even do the latter. 😉

Ahaha! I think that I’ll be perfect for that. I love manga and sweets. Thanks for dropping by. Cheers!
