What I love the most in watching sports anime is the constant emphasis on how hard work is the sure-fire way to get you the results that you want. Of course, talent will get you there faster but hard work alone will force you to obtain the skills you need to reach your goals. I love that. How inspiring. A few months ago, I finally gave in and joined the bandwagon by watching the entire Kuroko no Basuke anime series. Kuroko no Basuke (黒子のバスケ / Kuroko’s Basketball) is a manga series by Fujimaki Tadatoshi (藤巻 忠俊). I watched the first season back in 2012 when it first aired. I found it entertaining that time, but didn’t really felt any connection with the characters. That’s why I didn’t watch the next seasons until a few months ago.
Fast-forward to 2015. I felt that the universe was not-so-subtly urging me to watch KnB. On my Twitter timeline, fan art and screenshots of the series frequently appeared. On my blog reader, KnB posts abounded. And so I finally gave in like a normal human being bombarded by constant temptation.
